South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace wins $1 billion order from Romania for K9 howitzers

SEOUL :South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace said on Wednesday it won a 1.38 trillion won ($1 billion) dispute from Romania to present K9 howitzers.

The deal involves 54 K9 howitzers, ammunition and 36 K10 resupply autos, the Yonhap news company reported, citing South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration.

The contract lasts except July 2029, Hanwha said in a regulatory submitting.
