Expedia to cut about 1,500 jobs in latest restructuring

Online tear platform Expedia mentioned on Monday it become once lowering about 1,500 jobs as segment of its most up-to-date restructuring.

As of Dec. 31, 2023, the company had 17,100 workers in bigger than 50 international locations.

Total pre-tax costs and money expenditures linked to the restructuring actions are expected to be between $80 million and $100 million, Expedia mentioned.

Shares of the company were up marginally in aftermarket trading.
