Country Garden liquidation hearing adjourned to January next year, court says

HONG KONG : A Hong Kong court docket on Monday adjourned a hearing into a petition in the hunt for liquidation of Country Garden until Jan. 20, 2025, giving a breather to the embattled Chinese developer who’s attempting to finalise an offshore debt revamp belief.

A Hong Kong company filed a petition against Country Garden in February for non-price of a $205 million loan. The developer defaulted on its $11 billion worth of offshore bonds final 365 days.
