Apple to add Japan’s ‘My Number’ ID card function to iPhone, Japan official says
TOKYO :Apple CEO Tim Cook agreed on the ask of Jap Top Minister Fumio Kishida to place Japan’s “My Amount” identification card functions onto iPhones, Japan’s high govt spokesperson talked about on Thursday.
The Jap govt plans to integrate folk’s tax and social security knowledge accurate into a single identification card to elevate administrative effectivity.

The comment from Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi comes after Kishida’s video convention earlier in the day with Cook.
“Top Minister Kishida and Mr. Tim Cook confirmed that My Amount card functions will likely be placed on iPhones next spring,” Hayashi educated an ordinary news convention.
