Australia scraps ‘nuisance’ tariffs to remove red tape, lower living costs
SYDNEY: Australia said on Monday (Mar 11) it can well rob away import tariffs on a broad selection of issues including toothbrushes, toasters, hand tools and apparel in a uncover to catch rid of crimson tape for companies and bring reduction to households battling higher dwelling prices.

“(The authorities) will abolish almost 500 nuisance tariffs from Jul 1 this 365 days … these reforms are a compulsory step in direction of simplifying Australia’s trading gadget,” Chalmers said.
